Hope Chiropractic & Yoga, Comprehensive Holistic Healing Our holistic approach focuses on the total mind, body and spirit, which not only helps you heal, but Hope isn’t just the middle name of Keneen McNiven, D.C.

or the title of her business. It’s her life lesson and professional mission. After the sudden loss of her husband in November of 2006, Keneen’s longtime dedication to healing and transformation profoundly evolved and deepened. She began her journey of recovery through the heart-opening principles of Anusara yoga, which helped her move from the ravages of heartbreak and grief to “heart-broken-open.” Discovering, recovering and embodying true natural hope encouraged her to incorporate the same principals in to her 30-year chiropractic and healing arts practice as well as her 10 years of yoga teachings. She found that by infusing yoga therapy and principles with her gentle chiropractic methods, she could offer her clients greater pain relief and sustainability in their treatments. Clients experience empowerment, inspiration and hope as they learn how to be proactive at home in a way that enhances and supports the chiropractic care. By combining therapeutic yoga and innovative rehabilitation solutions, in addition to emotional freedom recovery work, Keneen now supports others not only with their physical healing and pain relief, but also facilitates more in-depth personal growth and transformation. Her own experiences with trauma recovery, adrenal exhaustion, chronic fatigue, emotional stress and PTSD have sparked a passion for helping others who face similar challenges. Today, instilling genuine hope combined with leading edge, accelerated healing modalities is the foundation of her business.

This testimonial from a recent workshop really moved me... check it out:

“I had the most incredible experience this weekend at a Psoas workshop in Yuma, AZ, and in a private session with Dr. Hope — and I can’t recommend her enough.

The psoas work alone was powerful, but what truly sets Hope apart is the depth of her presence. As both an intuitive chiropractor and skilled yoga instructor, she brings a rare combination of anatomical knowledge, nervous system awareness, and grounded compassion into the room.

I felt safe, supported, and completely seen throughout the entire process. The release in my body — especially through my hips and low back — was profound, but even more than that, I left feeling lighter, clearer, and able to breathe more fully.

Hope has an amazing ability to guide you into your body without force — just intelligent, attuned facilitation. If you’re carrying stress, emotional tension, or chronic tightness, this work is transformative.

I’m so grateful for the experience and already looking forward to my next session.” - Elene MacAdam

Grateful for this beautiful gathering at Tranquility Wellness Studio.

It was a gift to spend the day with such an open and curious group exploring the role of the psoas, posture, and breath in supporting the body’s natural healing process.

Workshops like this are always a reminder that when we slow down and listen to the body, it often has a lot to teach us.

Thank you to everyone who showed up ready to learn, move, and reconnect with themselves.

And a special thank you to Amandelyn and Renata for all the support and work you put into the workshop!

Looking forward to the next time we gather.

Most people were never taught how to truly breathe.

Not into the chest.
Not into tension.
But into the back body, where the diaphragm, ribs, and psoas begin to work together again.

In this clip, Dr. Hope demonstrates a precise breathing technique designed to invite the breath into the lower back lobes of the lungs, supporting the diaphragm and the deeply connected psoas.

This is subtle work.
But when done correctly, it can be profoundly therapeutic for posture, nervous system regulation, and chronic holding patterns in the body.

If you’ve been stretching and strengthening but still feel stuck, this may be the missing piece.

Dr. Hope is currently teaching in-person workshops and private sessions for those ready to work more directly with these patterns.

Some of the most meaningful work I witness doesn’t always look dramatic from the outside.

It looks like someone sleeping through the night again.
Standing a little taller.
Moving with less fear.
Feeling more at home in their own body.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people navigating chronic pain, postural challenges, recovery after injury, and deep long-held tension patterns.

What you’ll hear in these reflections is something I care deeply about:

Not forcing the body.
Not overriding symptoms.
But listening carefully and working with the body’s own intelligence.

Every person is different.
Every body tells its own story.
And this work is always tailored to the individual in front of me.

If you’re curious whether this approach might support you, I invite you to explore further.

Workshops and private sessions are both available.

Many people ask me about the difference between my workshops and private sessions.

In workshops and classes, you’ll learn powerful foundational concepts, what the psoas is, why it matters, and gentle release practices you can begin using right away. It’s a beautiful place to build awareness and understanding.

Private work is where we go much deeper.

In a one-on-one session, the work is highly specific and tailored to your unique patterns. We look closely at your posture, take supportive pre- and post-images, and create personalized exercises designed for your body and your life. When appropriate, sessions may also include gentle, hands-on psoas release work and muscle testing to support your process.

Both are valuable. They simply serve different purposes on the healing path.

If you’re curious which is right for you, I’d love to support you.

Your body is not failing you.
It is communicating.

I see so many people living with ongoing pain, tension, fatigue, or sleep disruption who have quietly started to believe something is broken.

In many cases, the body is actually asking for attention in a new way.

When we stop fighting, masking, and overriding symptoms…
and begin listening with curiosity and respect…
the body often responds.

This work is about understanding the deeper patterns behind hips, low back tension, posture, and stress…and supporting the body so it can reorganize more naturally.

If this perspective resonates with you, I invite you to follow along and explore the workshops and offerings.

Most people don’t realize how much the psoas influences their posture, breathing, and sense of ease in the body.

When this deep core support muscle is stressed or imbalanced, it can show up as hip and low-back discomfort, fatigue, restricted movement, and nervous system overload.

Dr. Hope offers workshops that will guide you through practical, body-based methods to:
• understand your psoas
• reduce unnecessary tension
• improve structural support
• restore more comfort and vitality

This is guided, experiential work, not passive care … but active learning you can feel in your body.

Join the upcoming workshop and experience the difference for yourself.

Lake Havasu City! I’m looking forward to meeting you.

If you’ve been dealing with ongoing back or hip tension, fatigue, sleep disruption, or stress in your body, sometimes the missing piece isn’t more force… it’s deeper support and awareness through the core.

The psoas is a key stress-responsive muscle that affects posture, movement, and how safe your body feels. When it stays contracted, recovery can stall.

I’ll be at Eight Lotus Wellness & Yoga in February offering a free meet & greet and Valentine’s Week workshops focused on gentle psoas release and heart opening practices.

Come learn what your body may be trying to communicate.

Details in bio + workshop flyer.
Hope to see you there.
