The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado Bereavement services for children, teens and adults in southwest Colorado.

The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado serves residents of Southwest Colorado by offering the following:

A network of bereavement specialists in southwest Colorado (Spanish-speaking therapist available)

Individual and group therapy for children, teens and adults experiencing a loss in their lives

Support groups for bereaved individuals

Special programs for bereaved children and their families

Pre- and neo-natal loss support

Community resources on grief, loss and trauma-informed care

Assistance with memorial service planning and facilitation

The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado is hosting an evening of connection for Survivors of Su***de Loss on August 7, 2025 from 5:30-7pm at the Durango Arts Center. The evening will include an opportunity to participate in a guided art project with a local artist alongside therapeutic support from therapists and peers from The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado. Survivors and their friends, along with other community members interested in learning more about services and support groups available at the Grief Center of Southwest Colorado are welcome to join.
