📢 Exciting News for Pagosa Springs! 📢

We’re thrilled to announce that Pagosa Medical Group (PMG) will officially join Axis Health System on August 4, 2025! This partnership is all about strengthening local healthcare services and ensuring our community has access to the best care possible. 💙

Here’s what you need to know:
➡️ PMG Urgent Care will stay at its current location with no changes to hours.
➡️ PMG Primary Care will also remain at its current location for now but is expected to move to the Axis Pagosa Springs Integrated Healthcare Clinic this fall.
➡️ Axis services, including primary care, oral health, and behavioral health, will continue as usual.

This collaboration will bring expanded services and a more integrated approach to care for the Pagosa Springs community. Patients will still see the same trusted providers and receive the high-quality care they’re used to.

Dr. David Shaeffer, CEO of PMG, says, “Patients can expect the same great care, with the added benefit of expanded services.” Shelly Burke, CEO of Axis, adds, “This is a big step toward improving healthcare in our community.”
