Durango's Planned Parenthood facility reopened recently. While we wish its closure would have lasted indefinitely, we are called once again to push back. The LifeGuard office is now open on Mondays and is looking for volunteers who are interested in stopping by to help. Keep up the prayers!

The Right to Life is as American as it gets.

Our founding fathers knew what they were doing when they declared the rights that every American citizen retains in the Constitution. And they very deliberately listed Life first, because without it, no other rights can exist. We hope that one day every child in the womb will be granted the right to Life.

Something huge is happening right now!

Trump's controversial Big Beautiful Bill has a big silver lining for the prolife movement. In Section 44126 of the bill, Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood are being terminated, essentially cutting all federal funding from the organization. Planned Parenthood has stated this would lead to almost 200 locations being closed - most of them in abortion legal states. With roughly 600 locations open right now, that's a huge blow!

EXTRA! EXTRA! LifeGuard stands in defense of human life!

On Sunday, June 22nd, LifeGuard is publishing a full-page signature ad in the Durango Herald. The names of the heroes who volunteer to participate, stand against abortion and strive to protect every human life.

If you wish to participate, please call the LifeGuard office at 970-385-8451. There is no charge, no minimum age, and no requirement that the signers be local. All we need are printed names, used by permission, that will be typed and submitted under LifeGuard's supervision.
With your help, we can really show the community we mean business.

The House of Representatives just passed a bill restricting federal funding to Planned Parenthood this morning. If this bill passes the Senate, it will be a huge blow against the organization.
