Meet Amy! Amy is the Patient Coordinator at Aesthetics and Wellness and has been part of the team for over two years. Originally from Texas, she has called Durango home for the past four years. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys painting, reading, watching shows, and spending time with her best friend, her dog Stella. She ended up in Durango looking for a change from Texas and loves connecting with the patients and making them feel welcome.

Sarah Packard-Normand is the owner of Aesthetics and Wellness of Durango, a practice she has proudly led since 2019. A registered nurse with extensive experience in both clinical and aesthetic medicine, Sarah holds numerous industry certifications, including Botox and dermal fillers, PRP, PDO threads, laser treatments, medical weight loss, and hormone therapy.

Sarah relocated to Durango ten years ago from Austin, TX with her husband of 20 years in search of a better quality of life for their son, Jakob. The move proved to be life-changing, allowing their family to embrace the outdoor lifestyle and strong community Durango offers.

Sarah’s passion for aesthetics began in 2006 when she managed a laser hair removal and skincare clinic in Austin. Inspired by the confidence and well-being her patients gained, she returned to school in 2010 to pursue nursing. Her clinical background includes working in oncology at a Level I trauma hospital in Austin, She then took a position with a stem cell company collaborating with orthopedic surgeons and pain specialists focused on regenerative medicine.

After several years in clinical nursing, Sarah felt drawn back to aesthetics and completed her advanced aesthetic certifications in 2016. She later joined a medical spa in Durango, where the opportunity to purchase the business arose in 2018—leading to her ownership of Aesthetics and Wellness of Durango.

Sarah is deeply committed to providing customized, patient-centered care and finds immense joy in helping others look and feel their best. She is currently continuing her education to become a Nurse Practitioner, further expanding the scope and quality of care she provides.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, working out on her Peloton, practicing yoga, traveling and baking.
