We’re having a great time at the REMSS conference teaching the difficult airway class. From basic airway adjuncts to ramping the patient, intubation with vomiting manikins, needle and surgical cricothyrotomy and pig trachea and lungs with PEEP. We never stop learning to ensure we are providing the best care possible.

Today, Air Evac 174 (Durant) and Air Evac 130 (Ardmore) collaborated on a survival training exercise, simulating a crash landing in a remote area. The crews demonstrated remarkable resilience and teamwork in the face of blistering heat, successfully building shelters, starting fires, and supporting each other. Kudos to Josh Coates for leading an engaging and informative training session.

Bethany completed NEO( new employee orientation) in O’Fallon Missouri last week and is attending her base orientation this week. Next week Bethany will attended her first round of Sim Lab with our wonderful medical director and educators. We broke her in the right way with an aircraft spa day!
