Tosha Whitmire, RN, was recently awarded the Nurse Excellence Award for AllianceHealth Durant. In addition, she was named as a recipient of the Community Health System's 2025 Nursing Excellence Award.

On June 11, 2013, after picking up a patient for transport as flight nurse, Tosha was involved in a helicoptor crash that left her with extensive and potentially fatal injuries. Her goal was to return to work as a nurse and to continue to provide the best care possible for her patients. After extensive rehabilitation, she returned to work in 2015. Tosha is a trusted mentor, colleague, leader and friend. Having had her own personal challenges as a patient, she is invested in making sure the next generation of nurses has everything they need to become not only great caregivers, but to be successful and have pride in their work.

Revin Sands, LPN, recently received the Nurse Excellense Award for AllianceHealth Madill. Revin consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every patient feels valued, heard and supported. She approaches each interaction with empathy, taking the time to listen to patients' concerns and provides reassurance during difficult times. Revin's unwavering dedication to her patients, combined with her gentle kindness, makes her the true embodiment of an exceptional nurse.
