Why I only accept cash payments.....
There is this thing called "cost-share protection cost share-protected members."
We can only accept the 5$ from medicaid as Full Payment. We can not send the balance to patients.

•Providers must accept payment from Humans or Medicaid as payment in full even if they choose not to bill Medicaid.
•Any remaining balance must be written off by the provider; it may not be balance-billed to the member.🤔
