The scale is not the number you should be watching after 40.
I never tell my clients they are going to lose weight. What I tell them is that we are going to change their body. Build muscle. Replace fat with something that actually works for them long term.
Here is the truth. Muscle weighs more than fat. So when your body is changing the right way, the scale barely moves. But your clothes fit differently. Your energy is completely different.
Your metabolism is faster and stronger.
The scale did not change. But everything else did.
If you are over 40 and still measuring your progress by a number on a scale, you are measuring the wrong thing.
