Happy 4 Year Anniversary! Diane has been part of the practice for 4 years this month, and we’re so thankful for her. She wears many different hats and keeps us running, all while wearing a big smile on her face. She makes patients feel right at home as soon as they walk through the door. We can always count on Diane to go above and beyond. Thank you for 4 years!

Welcome, Julie! We are so excited to welcome Julie as a Dental Hygienist. She’s been an awesome addition to the team already and has jumped right in this week. We’re excited for you to meet Julie!

Julie is a native to Bahama, NC. She began her education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro studying business. With a passion for art and science, she transferred to the North Carolina Dental Assisting Training School (NCDATS) and Durham Technical College, receiving both an Associate in Science Degree and Dental Assisting Certificate in 2011.

After working chair side for 5 years as a dental assistant, Julie was ready to advance her training and education in the dental field. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene with honors from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018. She was awarded the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award, an honor given to the student demonstrating remarkable skill and talent throughout their training.

Julie loves being a Dental Hygienist because each day she strives to make a positive impact on the world one smile at a time. She participates in various continuing education programs each year to advance her skill and knowledge. She is compassionate and will always make you feel comfortable during your dental appointment.

When not in the office, Julie enjoys exercising, crafting, and spending time with family and friends. Currently, Julie and her husband Cory reside in Durham with their sweet Labrador retrievers, Trigger and Crash.
