Just some midweek motivation! Today is MONUMENTAL as the first black woman will be sworn into office as the Vice President of the United States. I’m certain a combination of faith and action have brought to this moment. Today I want to encourage each of you to harness your own faith and action. Allow the space between where you want to be and where you currently are to motivate you. Sometimes that space is just where we need to be.

Time for some Monday (really all week) Motivation! With 2021 right around the corner, we’ll soon be bombarded with the pressure to set resolutions. There will be posts about weight loss and finally finding the relationship of your dreams. Instead of falling prey to the resolution propaganda, I want to encourage each of you to focus more on reflection. Reflect on the resilience it took to endure 2020, or the creativity that arose as you learned how to connect differently with those you love. Reflect on the things you want to continue doing and those you don’t. In my experience, reflecting is a much more helpful tool than resolving. Reflection over resolution!

With Christmas in 4 days, gift giving has been heavy on my mind. Sometimes in all the busy, we get so caught up giving gifts we forget to show up for ourselves. We forget that we alone are a gift. Today I want to remind everyone that your PRESENCE is more important than PRESENTS. I also want to remind you not everyone will appreciate your presence but that doesn’t mean you’re not still a gift. Happy Holidays!

Today’s Monday Motivation is about sowing and reaping! Thanksgiving made me think a lot about harvest time, and more specifically the things I’d like to Harvest in 2021. Although 2020 is quickly winding down, there’s still a lot of time left to plant seeds. Today I challenge you to view your troubles as seed planting. Maybe you’re planting a seed of patience so you can later reap freedom. Or perhaps a seed of discipline to later reap ownership. Just remember whatever you’re sowing lasts for a season. You will eat the fruit later!

Today’s Monday Motivation is a mantra I find myself repeating regularly these days. Our anxieties often convince us our worst fear will become a reality. Although that fear may be possible, it’s not always the probable outcome, it’s simply an outcome in a sea of possibilities. As we enter a week during which many people will be filled with gratitude, I encourage you to hold space for ALL the possible outcomes, not just the one fear tries to convince you is your destiny... Also, we have a black female Vice President elect so that tells you a bit about probabilities!

Today’s Monday Motivation comes from the QUEEN herself 🤣. May we all break up with fear and hang on to faith. Don’t let the “what if’s” debilitate you. Instead, move forward and do what’s uncomfortable. Your dream may be on the other side!

Time for some Monday Motivation.! Whether you watched the vice presidential debates or not, you’re probably aware of what has become an infamous (and quite viral) quote by the powerful Kamala Harris. To me, it’s a reminder to claim or reclaim your voice and space. A reminder that it’s okay to ask others to pause so that you can be seen and heard. So I hope you go into this week ready to claim it all! I see you and I hear you!
