Need something repaired? Clothes? Lamps? Small furniture? Jewelry? Got clothes and households goods you want to donate? Come on down!

On Saturday, April 1, rain or shine, 11am to 4pm, Feed Durham's hosting a Repair Clinic at the Scrap Exchange. Walk-ins are welcome. Feed Durham will offer FREE produce, plant starts and herbal supplements. FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE.

Carpentry requests will be honored between 12pm and 2pm. If you miss that window, you can leave items with us for repair.

Please bring CLEAN clothes or household goods for repair. You can keep or donate each item. We'll assess it on-site. If it can be repaired within 15 to 30 minutes, we'll do so. If it's a more complex repair, you can leave it with us and we'll repair it by June 2.

We are an all volunteer crew being led by skilled volunteers while we learn alongside them.

Feed Durham is organizing Repair Clinics to facilitate landfill diversion, expense reduction within low-income households, and the teaching of important tactile skillsets to future generations. Beginning in June 2023, we'll issue monthly-themed requests to donate excess household goods needed by neighbors who are struggling. Example: June 2023 we'll request school supplies.

DONATE CLOTHES/HOUSEHOLD GOODS
In addition to donated items folks bring in for repair, we're accepting clean clothes and household goods you wish to give away.
