Wrapping up a wonderful week at Stetson’s annual conference on Special Needs Planning and SpecialNeeds Trusts, followed by the Special Needs Alliance fall meeting. I came away with new insights, practical tools, and a renewed appreciation for the incredible professionals doing this important work. Grateful for the chance to learn, connect, and catch up with so many good friends.

WOW — what a day! The 2025 NCDSA Buddy Walk was one for the books. A time was had, memories were made, and together we raised over $320,000 (and counting!) to empower and celebrate the incredible North Carolina Down syndrome community!

To every walker, sponsor, volunteer, team captain, family member, entertainer, and cheerleader — THANK YOU. You showed up, you showed out, and you made this an unforgettable celebration of inclusion, joy, and community.
