Please join us for the inaugural Jodi Koviach Memorial 5K Run & Walk to benefit the Lung Cancer Initiative on November 6.

This is a community event remembering Jodi Lynn Koviach who died from lung cancer in October 2021. Jodi loved running and even more the community and camaraderie it provides. Her friends and family believe there is no better way to honor her memory than by having this run, which symbolizes so much of what she valued AND supports a great cause! The race is a chip-timed 5K run or walk with finishers' awards, t-shirts, and post-race food and refreshments.

Dry needling is just another word used by physical therapists who want to do acupuncture! It is also out of their scope of practice and illegal in many states. Make sure you hire a licensed acupuncturist to do acupuncture!

Florida physical therapists cannot offer “dry needling” procedures to their patients, a state judge ruled Monday in a legal challenge filed by a group representing acupuncturists.
