Another awesome Veteran Recreation fly tying night at Northeast Passage! 🎣

One of the big advantages of hosting these events at NEP headquarters is the technology in our multipurpose room. By zooming in on the instructor’s fly tying vise with an iPad and projecting it live on the giant screen, participants get a crystal-clear, up-close view of every step. It’s like having a front-row seat to the craft, making it easier for everyone to follow along and build their skills.

A big thank you to Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. for providing the tools and materials that make these sessions possible, and to the volunteer instructors from Three Rivers Stocking Association: Southeast New Hampshire for sharing their time and expertise with our veterans. 👏

Students at Belmont Hill School recently took part in a unique three-day Similarity Awareness Program led by Northeast Passage.

Through hands-on experiences in sled hockey, wheelchair lacrosse, and archery, students gained a new perspective on adaptive sports while learning about accessibility, inclusion, and the power of sport for athletes of all abilities.

Programs like this help build awareness, empathy, and a stronger commitment to inclusion—both on and off the field. 🥍🏒🏹

What a weekend for Northeast Passage sled hockey! 🏒🔥

While Team USA captured Paralympic gold in Milan with four NEP athletes on the roster, our NEP teams were busy making history of their own at the NESHL Playoffs in Vorhees, NJ — and they did not disappoint.

Both the NEP NESHL Atlantic and NEP NESHL Metro teams skated their way to league championships, capping off undefeated playoff runs.

Atlantic Division Results
• Fri: W vs New England Warriors 4–0
• Sat: W vs Springfield Thunderbirds 5–0
• Sun: W vs Springfield Thunderbirds 6–1 (Tier II Championship)

Metro Division Results
• Fri: W vs Johnstown Sitting Bulls 4–1
• Fri: W vs USA Warriors 7–0
• Sat: W vs NY Rangers 8–1
• Sat: W vs Ga***rd Wolfpack 11–2
• Sun: W vs Johnstown Sitting Bulls 5-1 (Championship)

From the international stage in Milan to championship ice in New Jersey, NEP athletes showed the strength, depth, and sportsmanship of Northeast Passage sled hockey.

After celebrating Team USA's Sled Hockey Gold victory yesterday, get a glimpse of the legacy that brought the US its first gold medal run. "Ice Gold" is coming to the Portsmouth Music Hall Thursday Mar. 26 at 7 PM for a free community screening.

This very special community screening will feature a live post-film discussion with coach and Boston Bruins great Rick Middleton and assistant coach Tom Moulton!
