2026 USA Hockey-Honda Sled Hockey National Championships Recap:

🏒Tier 1: The top Adult team, scored their way into the Championship game against a talented and deep Colorado team but ultimately came up short of the title. The team played some high paced hockey all weekend and was led on the scoresheet by Dave Eustace and Noah Grove.

🏒Tier 3: This team had a slow start to the weekend, but finished strong with a shootout loss to Chicago. The team was missing some important defensive players for the tournament, but competed hard against some experienced teams.

🏒Youth Tier 4: Combined team representing the Spaulding Sledgehogs.
The youth team battled hard despite only having 5 skaters for most of the weekend and put on a strong showing in a really competitive division. The Team finished with a close loss to the Philadelphia Hammerheads in the semi-final game. Shoutout to Sam for his goal scoring and Will and Nora helping out in net for the weekend.

⭐Also, thanks to Nicole and John for stepping in and making the trip to Dallas so Matt could head to Canada with the U.S. Development Team. Teamwork makes the dream work around here!

Under gray skies and eventual spring rain, the inaugural office pickleball showdown turned into a gritty battle for glory — and one legendary prize: the coveted “Can of Whoop Ass.” 😆

Thanks to the planning efforts of spring intern Cat, five determined teams took to the “courts” yesterday for an unforgettable potluck pickleball tournament that had all the drama of a championship match. Despite unfavorable conditions, competitors dug deep, trading volleys, laughs, and plenty of friendly trash talk as cheers echoed across the parking lot.

When the final rally ended, it was Brendan and Sam who emerged victorious, surviving the rain-soaked gauntlet to claim the title and hoist the illustrious can high above the crowd.

But the real story of the day wasn’t just about who won... It was about doing something fun together and taking a break from the grind. Some players showcased polished skills, others brought pure hustle, and some tried hard. 😂

By day’s end, spirits were high, shoes were soaked, and this just may become an annual tradition.

A big thank you to the UNH Therapeutic Riding Program and the University of New Hampshire horse barns for welcoming our Northeast Passage TREK school-based recreational therapy students!

TREK students had the opportunity to learn what it takes to care for these incredible animals—from feeding and grooming to understanding daily barn routines. We’re grateful for the hands-on experiences that help build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections in the community 🐴
