Bull City Dental Turns 10 This Month! 🎉

Wow! It’s hard to believe it’s been a full decade since we opened our doors on Parrish Street, Historic Black Wall Street, in August 2015.

One summer evening, while enjoying a walk with my husband, Michael, he remarked on the growth and changes in downtown Durham. I replied, “Wouldn’t it be great to open a boutique-style dental office here, a place where people who live and work downtown could simply walk to their dentist?” Within weeks, I was researching demographics, hunting for the perfect space, and diving headfirst into the exciting process of opening a second location.

I am deeply grateful to Michael for planting the seed and offering steadfast support, to my family, Tonia Bennett (my right hand in everything), the amazing team at our Newsom Street location, and to the Durham community for helping bring Bull City Dental to life. A shout out to Emily Farrell of Henry Schein for her guidance through the construction and design process. A heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Audrey Kemp and our Bull City Dental team for your dedication to creating a welcoming environment that delivers outstanding oral health care and exceptional service.

This week, I’ll be sharing photos from over the years at Bull City Dental and next week we’ll be celebrating! Stay tuned for giveaways and details about our anniversary celebration next week.
