Check out these three built-in-besties cheesing for National Siblings Day! 😎

Today we’re celebrating siblings and the fun, silliness, and support they provide each other.

In honor of the special occasion, we've got a new post on the Emerge Blog, and we're filing this one under our Tough Conversations series. Welcoming a new family member is such a fun and exciting time! There’s anticipation, joy, tiny outfits, and so much love. But it’s also important that we support the kiddos who are becoming an older sibling for the first time too.

In our latest blog, Katie Reese, COTA/L, is sharing tips to prepare, support, and empower your child during this special season of change.

Head to our website to read more, and happy National Siblings Day to all the families and friends growing together 💙

We're looking for people who are passionate, driven, and excited to join our team! If you're an OT, SLP, or have experience in a clinic setting, we would love to meet you. We're having a ton of fun and making a lot of amazing memories here, and would love to share them with you. You know what would make this lovely Wednesday even better? A shout out to another super fantastic member of our team!! Today's Staff Spotlight is Dr. Avery Rothberg, an Occupational Therapist in our Durham Clinic. Avery inspires us with the creativity, compassion and consideration that she brings to our team. Thanks for all that you do, Avery, and the wonderful ways you do it. 💜

More about Avery ➡ Avery graduated from Duke University with her doctorate in Occupational Therapy after completing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Florida State University. Her inspiration for becoming a pediatric occupational therapist started very close to her heart - after seeing how OT support helped a family member as a child. During her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, spending time with her friends, and visiting her family back in Atlanta.

We're so lucky to know you, Avery! ⭐

We were going to post this yesterday but celebrating OT Appreciation Month is no foolish matter!

To our team of inspiring, creative, and dedicated Occupational Therapists,

We’re so inspired by you. You help children build confidence and independence, find joy in wins of all sizes, and your work changes families’ lives in ways that last far beyond their therapy sessions.

Thank you for the compassion you show, the problem-solving spirit you bring, and the heart you pour into every session. We couldn’t do any of this with out you - at Emerge or TEC. We are so grateful for each of you and the difference you make for our clients, their families, and each other every single day.

💛💙

We recently visited our friends at the for a presentation by Brittni Winslow called “The Secret to Smoother Days!“ This awesome framework was created by Brittni to support busy families who are trying to make their systems more swift and their routines more regulated. Because busy & fulfilled doesn’t have to mean overwhelmed & exhausted too!

DM us to learn more about how to get this system ‘tune up’ scheduled for your group!
