Our Vision is "A Healthier Nigeria in a Healthier World." Nigeria is a microcosm of Africa.

THE ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN PHYSICIANS IN THE AMERICAS (ANPA), was incorporated in 1995 for educational, scientific, charitable and social purposes as a tax-exempt non-profit organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. ANPA represents the professional, political and social interests of the 4,000 plus physicians, dentists and allied health professionals of Nigerian birth, ethnicity or empathy in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. ANPA provides a platform for medical, scientific, political and social dialogue, on issues of health within North America, the Caribbean, and Africa, pertinent to persons of descent from the Nigerian Diaspora. Experience gained and methodologies developed in Nigeria can be extended to other sub-Saharan African countries.

ANPA recognizes Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and stands with men across Nigeria and the diaspora.
Prostate cancer remains one of the top cancers among Nigerian men, with recent studies showing that over 80% of cases are diagnosed at advanced stages and screening rates are still as low as 10% in some communities.

In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, Jamaica faces severe devastation. Homes, hospitals, and schools have been destroyed, leaving families in urgent need of food, water, shelter and medical care.
ANPA is mobilizing resources and partnering with Dr. Ernest Madu and the Heart Institute of the Caribbean Foundation (HICF) to provide critical relief and medical support.
