It is always so special to walk back onto the 2nd floor of the CHC and run into an old friend! ❤️ Baron"Bear" crossed paths with Barron, and the two spent some time reminiscing about past years. Bear may have officially graduated from needing speech therapy—and he left Spider-Man at home this time—but he always has time to catch up with Barron! ✨

Dan (audiologist extraordinaire) shows us how Tympanometry works. It's important because it pinpoints the causes of conductive hearing loss - like middle ear fluid, eardrum perforations, and eustachian tube dysfunction. Thanks Dan!

Huge congratulations to our teammate, Sofia! 🌟For the past three years, it has been an absolute joy having Sofia shadow our team. Her passion for craniofacial care and her dedication to multidisciplinary teamwork have truly stood out. Beyond her work with us, she’s been a leader at Duke, helping other undergrads find their path in craniofacial care. She has led the Duke Operation Smile Club and spearheaded volunteer efforts for Smile Together events. Sofia is graduating from Duke University with a degree in Biology and is headed to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine this fall! 🎓🦷 We have no doubt she’ll achieve her dreams of becoming an incredible craniofacial orthodontist. Sofia, thank you for everything you’ve contributed to our team. We are so proud of you and are holding a place for you on our team when you are ready! 💙✨

The birthday celebrations continued at Team last week! Evie arrived wearing her beautiful, new crown and that big, genuine smile. 👑✨
They say a smile is how a child greets the world—and Evie greets it with nothing but love and wonder. Happy Birthday sweet girl! 🎂💖
