Part of what I love about our Team Day is that we try to make our kids feel comfortable. Daniel loved playing music wtih our music teacher, William, and when he was done waiting for Dr. Allori, he just went in the work room and got him. That's an effective way to move along your day!! 😍 (See, it worked)

Ayden's mom, Emily, took pictures throughout his Team day last week. What a ham! Big smiles; big laughs and lots of fun. (Did you actually have any "medical" visits?) That is how the day should go, right Ayden?

Dr. Allori loved taking his annual photo with Juan Pablo last week...and reminiscing about all the things that have happened over the last 5 years! We are so incredibly grateful to be part of the journey! (and have you as part of our Duke family)

Calling all families...
Meet Lauren. (pictured with her mom, Wendy) She is working on her Gold Girl Scout Project this year and has dedicated it to the cleft and craniofacial community.

She is creating a “cookbook” for patients to use after surgeries. You know how there is a staged progression of eating certain consistencies after surgeries, like alveolar bone graft, and nobody can figure out what to feed their child – Well Lauren is trying to help!! This cookbook is a compilation of ideas from different families. Hopefully it can be published and provided to future patients! Great idea, Lauren!

Can you please fill out her questionnaire? See the QR code and thanks so much for considering!! Email Lauren with any questions: parrowlauren@gmail.com

Meet Grady! What a happy, beautiful boy and an amazing family! The first year can sure be a challenge, but during this time we really enjoy developing long-term, close relationships with families and watching each individual smile evolve over the first few months. 🥰 Soon you will be walking (with Grady, I bet running), talking, and we can't wait to see you thrivel!

We just really love watching our kids develop their unique, individual personaities. Looking back at that tiny infant we met in 2021, we never would have guessed Adalynn would be coming back to see us and requesting photos be taken of her fresh and happenin' moves! We sure are happy for it, though- and love this spunky, fun-loving little gal!!

One of the greatest rewards for our Team is watching siblings grow up together. From an older sibling showing the other how to 'open wide', to teenagers trading banter in the exam room, seeing that bond evolve year after year is truly special. To all the siblings who join the journey: thank you for bringing the laughs, sacrifice, support and the love! xo Eli and Micah xo
