5 STAR RATING!!
Hunter helped me immensely with debilitating shoulder pain. NCCPT was the second physical therapy practice I tried for this issue, and I wish I'd just started here. I felt heard and respected from the intake throughout the many months we worked together, and the therapy has vastly improved my shoulder pain and mobility. I went from having to wear a sling multiple times a week to barely remembering I have an injury. Truly can't recommend these folks highly enough.

5 STAR RATING!!
I worked with Abby before and after giving birth to my daughter. The aches and pains I experienced for months, while having to adjust to being a new parent, were no joke! Early on I couldn’t leave my bed because of intense back pain. Abby helped me throughout my recovery process and provided a routine that was practical. I saw my body improve over time and I started to get back to my old self. I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend NCCPT to anyone looking for PT.

The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially Hunter and Abby. The facility is sunny and always clean. They helped me with my knee issues. In particular they showed me some exercises I can continue to do at home for long term relief. Thanks to everyone at the NC Center for Physical Therapy.

Have you noticed that healthcare has become more like a business of numbers?
North Carolina Center For Physical Therapy is a privately-owned clinic opened in 2010 specifically to focus on personalized one on one therapy. We see all types of orthopedic, athletic, post-operative, gait and balance, women’s health, and some neurological diagnoses. Our goal here is to get all of our patients back to functioning at their maximum abilities.
Our therapists take time to listen to you because that’s what it takes to solve the complex puzzle of your muscles, joints, nerves, and tendons that have become interwoven and off-balance in a way that is causing you pain that you just can’t get rid of.
Misty Pidgeon, PT/CEO, graduated from the University of Vermont in May 1991 and started treating patients at Duke Medical Center. She quickly moved on to become a Clinical Director at Treyburn Rehab, worked at Durham Regional Home Health then 8 years at Carolina Meadows in Chapel Hill.

She decided she could run a successful practice on her own with a focus on QUALITY care, not QUANTITY. With over 20 years of experience in the field of physical therapy she can treat injuries, ailments, and diagnoses from women’s health to general orthopedics. If you don’t want to feel like just another NUMBER when you seek medical care, you will want to visit a PT in a clinic designed to treat you like a person!
