I love tamarind and lime on a hot day, which is everyday at the moment! Try this recipe out and let me know what you think. I usually buy the tamarind in pre-shelled blocks for convenience.
Add salt, sugar, and optional flavorings such as lime juice, vanilla extract, and Angostura bitters. Add additional water to adjust the strength of the juice. Refrigerate until chilled, about 4 hours. Pour juice into a glass of ice and garnish with a slice of lime. Yield: About 1 quart

When it gets hot, it’s important to stay hydrated with a nice cool beverage, full of minerals. This refreshing tamarind juice fits the bill.

These T2Rs can be activated by several bacterial products and....

Bull City Acupuncture is suspending acupuncture treatments.
Dear Community,
Effective immediately we are suspending acupuncture treatments for the next 2 weeks. We will reevaluate the situation weekly and determine when we will be able to offer acupuncture as soon as the situation allows.
We have a stocked pharmacy and can assist you with herbal medicine and consultations at this time. We will provide you support via telemedicine, or via phone for all consultations. Please call the office at 919-949-2676 or email bullcityacupuncture@gmail.com to talk with a practitioner.
This has been a difficult decision, and it has taken a great deal of consideration, research and consultation. Social distancing is paramount to minimizing the devastating effects of the COVID-19 virus that we are seeing here and around the world. We want the best for you and our community. Right now that means practicing social distancing. Stay safe out there.
