Oh what fun!

When teamwork meets giving back! Our managers, directors, and supervisors from across all three communities came together for a fun and meaningful team-building activity of working through a series of challenges to assemble 17 bicycles. The bikes were donated to New Generation, a local nonprofit supporting mothers and children transitioning out of homelessness. These bikes will help make the holidays brighter for some very deserving children this holiday season!

From its launch in September, the Seacoast Dementia Hub has expanded quickly! Program Director, Ashley Seinen, kept the momentum going at The New Hampshire Alliance for Healthy Aging's quarterly meeting, where she introduced how the Seacoast Dementia Hub can partner with aging services providers to connect caregivers to comprehensive memory care services in New Hampshire.

Through collaboration, research, and outreach, we aim to empower families and professionals alike with knowledge and support.

Big things are on the horizon! From the moment RiverWoods Durham was first imagined, the demand to join our community has been strong. To meet this ongoing interest and welcome more residents to our community, we’re expanding our campus. This project will add 55 new independent living apartment homes across two beautifully designed buildings, along with a stand-alone community center offering inviting common spaces, dining venues, and recreational areas. With just one hour to learn and rehearse, the Theatre & Literary Arts Committee brought a series of micro plays to life for a room full of neighbors. The lineup featured short scenes from local playwrights. We can't wait for the next performance!

Proud company moment! A big congratulations to Jenn, our Director of Social Services, for presenting at the Gerontological Society of America’s Scientific Meeting in Boston! Her topic, “Improving Nursing Students’ Attitudes Toward Aging Through Academic and Community Partnerships,” reflects her commitment to shaping the next generation of social workers.

Jenn partners with the University of New Hampshire to host interns each year to offer students hands-on experience in social work and psychology. She’s deeply committed to expanding this internship program, sharing that the insight and energy these students bring continually renew her own perspective. We’re so glad she had the chance to share these learnings outside our walls, contributing her proven best practices to the wider field.

We had a wicked good time attending the 2025 LeadingAge Annual Meeting. With its rich revolutionary history, Boston provided the perfect backdrop for the three days of big ideas and bold conversations.

1773 might have been about spilling the tea, but 2025 was about sharing it.
