Today we celebrated Margaret Akingbade for starting her 50th year of service to Guilford County School’s students.

Her career began providing physical therapy services to students at the "Cerebral Palsy School" on Gatewood Avenue in Greensboro. She moved to Gateway Education Center in the 1980s, and Haynes-Inman Education Center in 2010.

She has touched countless lives, improved the quality of life for so many students, and set an extraordinary example of commitment and compassion in her field.
