ADHD & "The Pause" Workshop - Saturday, September 30, 2023 or Saturday, October 7, 2023 - Noon to 5:00 pm EDT

Research, clinical evidence & common sense:

Despite a scarcity of research specific to ADHD and menopause, I've pulled together information from peer-reviewed articles, books, and research projects around the world that are pertinent to both our ADHD and this important change of life.

1. Menopause basics - the who, what, when, why, and how hormonal changes create a dramatic difference in the lives of ADHD women between the ages of 35-65.

2. The intersection of climacteric and ADHD symptoms - the overlay of ADHD on the predicted journey through menopause and post-menopause.

3. Cognitive aging - what's normal and what's not?

Join me for the FREE ADDA webinar on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. EDT

Telling a joke can be really difficult for ADHD folks. We forget the punchline. Or our timing is off. Or we get lost in the story and wind up in a completely different joke. So we tend to tell knock-knock jokes - short and sweet. Or ignore jokes completely. But what if you know a great joke that everyone will love? How can you make it compelling enough for people to laugh - at exactly the right moment?

In this ADDA webinar, you’ll learn some tricks to telling jokes. And while we’re at it, we’ll share some secrets to telling ANY story, funny or not, so that people can follow along without rolling their eyes or making that weird little sigh that signals they have checked out.

Work and school are always a minefield of challenges for us ADHD adults, parents, and students – but this time of year is a great opportunity to get a fresh start with new knowledge and tools. I’m proud to be one of the experts interviewed by Alan, talking about "How to Get Organized and Stay That Way".

This summit is online, FREE, open to everyone, and runs three days (August 18-20) with each day’s sessions recorded so you can watch them any time for up to 24 hours.

It’s hosted by my colleague, Alan P. Brown, ADHD/productivity coach and creator of the award-winning ADD Crusher™ program, and it brings together 15 ADHD/EF experts (including moi) to help ADHD adults, students, and their parents with proven, practical solutions to get you back into action.

Whether you are newly diagnosed or have years of experience in understanding ADHD, this workshop is worth every penny.

Not only will we start at the very beginning (always a very good place to start), we'll give you straight talk about ADHD - none of that fluffy, silly pseudo-science that says 1) everyone has ADHD or 2) no one has ADHD.

Hey's it's neurobiological! Usually genetic! Not willful or purposeful! It just is what it is!

Then we'll shift gears to talk about Diagnosis, Treatment, Memory, Hormones, Organization, Money and Relationships. Plus whatever comes up in the Zoom room.
