We had an awesome time for the opening night of BCRC run club. Looking forward to spending more time with this crew this summer!

If you’ve ever left physical therapy with a black-and-white printout of side-lying leg raises and side planks and thought, “Is this really enough?” — you’re not alone.

Let’s be clear: those exercises aren’t wrong.
They’re just incomplete.

Hip pain, back pain, knee pain — these problems don’t usually happen because one muscle forgot how to lift your leg while lying on your side.

In this case, the glute med doesn’t just abduct the hip alone.

It works as part of a team during:
• Walking
• Running
• Climbing stairs
• Single-leg balance
• Load transfer through your pelvis

And yet we try to “fix” it in isolation.

Rehab isn’t about collecting exercises. It’s about restoring capacity, confidence, and function.

If your rehab doesn’t:
✔️ Assess movement
✔️ Progress load
✔️ Integrate single-leg control
✔️ Prepare you for real life
…it’s rehearsal, not rehabilitation.

We believe patients deserve more than a photocopy.

Click the link in our bio to read the full post and understand what effective rehab should actually look like. 💬

Then tell us — have you ever been handed a sheet of exercises with no explanation?

When most people hear “massage,” they think relaxation.
That’s not what we do here at EC.

At The Endurance Collective, sports massage is a performance tool. It’s built for athletes who train hard, race hard, and want their bodies to hold up.

We address:
• Range of motion issues
• Fascial restrictions
• Overuse from training volume
• Compensation patterns

If you’re a football player, track and field athlete, tennis player, cyclist, runner, triathlete, or mountain biker, your body takes on predictable stress. Our job is to help you adapt to it — not just temporarily feel better.

This isn’t random pressure.

It’s intentional work integrated into your training cycle.

Deload week? We adjust accordingly.
Pre-race? We prep you properly.
Post-event? We supplement recovery.

And because we operate inside a performance ecosystem, your massage therapist isn’t guessing. They collaborate with coaches, strength staff, and rehab professionals.

You’re not just booking a session.
You’re building capacity.

If you want to move better, recover faster, and train with fewer setbacks, this is for you.

The full breakdown of how our sports massage works — and why it’s different — is live now.

👉 Click the link in bio to read it.
Then DM us “RECOVER” if you’re ready to book.

If you train hard, your recovery should be intentional.
Our Pilates classes at The Endurance Collective weren’t built for a spa day. They were built for athletes and active adults who want to move better, recover smarter, and stay durable through real training.

This isn’t random core work.
It’s:
✔️ Core stability for better force transfer
✔️ Breath control under load
✔️ Postural awareness that carries into your sport

Tuesday evenings continue at 6:00pm. These sessions are a consistent way to build resilience week after week.

We also have one more Saturday session before we shift gears this spring.
If you run, lift, compete, or train consistently — this is for you.

Click the link to read the full post and get the details. Then DM us “PILATES” if you’re in.

Let’s train smarter. 💪

These two ultra-trail athletes, Darrin Mann ( .darrin ) & Bhushan Suresh ( ) have put in some incredible adventures in the last two months: 1) big country loops through Butner, Bahama, Hillsborough, Silk Hope, & Bynum, & 2) aerobic trail runs with extended instances of quality through Jordan Game Lands, Lower Haw River, & just today, Horton Grove Nature Preserve.

There have been conversations ranging from existentialism, to partnership, to pooping & everything in between. Mirroring the training progression was an expanding sense of place, a deepening sense of friendship and camaraderie amongst thieves, & of course, a totally goofy and arbitrary nicking of names 🤓.

Darrin has reached his taper for the Uwharrie 40 👏🏻.

Bhushan has a couple more weeks of voluntary suffering before tapering for Black Canyon 100k 🕺.

We were able to lurch out of our introvert-favoring equilibriums, have fun, train in a useful way for all fitness-levels, all while cultivating a kind and safe culture.

Congratulations Darrin & Bhushan (they need not know our nicknames 🤣) for not just the physiological development, but for have such a positive impact on the people around, even when you were in the pain cave. Inspiring.

The Endurance Collective is happy to announce we are continuing our sponsorship of the Raleigh Distance Project as the exclusive bodywork provider for the 2023 race season.

RDP is an elite women's running team training together to reach their goals and to use the transformative sport of running as a means of community-building for all people. In 2022, RDP athletes won marathons, set personal and course records, and competed at distances from the 1500 through the marathon (even some trail races). This year the team has eyes on qualifying for Olympic Trials and US Championship races, and continuing to build relationships within the Triangle endurance community.

We love working with RDP because they have all seen the impact of how a positive, inclusive, and enthusiastic mindset can enhance performance. They strive to instill the secret behind their successful running careers in all local runners: joy!
This year's team is represented by:
Lauren Archer
Caity Ashley
Nikki Long
Tavyn Lovitt
Kimberly Maloney
Gabi Sejourne
Emma Spencer
Laura Huning

We are looking forward to a successful season working together!

The EC team is stoked to announce our sponsorship of professional sprinter and Canadian Olympic 4x400m team member, for the 2023 season.

Maddy Price's Olympic dream became a reality in Tokyo, 2021. Her road to Tokyo was filled with uncertainty, as she dealt with coming back from foot surgery, the global pandemic shifting the timeline, and losing her dad to cancer right after missing the 2016 Rio Olympic team. Despite the odds, she made the Canadian 4x400m Olympic team and went on to run her fastest split ever in the final, helping lead her team to a 4th-place finish. Far more important than the accomplishment of becoming an Olympian and running professionally is how she approached the process. With her family as inspiration, Maddy has always prioritized her relationships, staying present, and giving her best to everything she does. Maddy is a mentor to younger girls in sport, giving them guidance on their own journies through the Voice in Sport Platform. She is a speaker for corporations and schools and is a volunteer assistant coach for the Duke Track and Field Team.

Maddy’s running highlights include
· Tokyo 2021 Canadian Olympian - 4th place Women's 4x400m Relay
· 2019 World Championships Finalist and 2019 World Relays 4th place Women's 4x400m Relay
· Captain, Record Breaker, and Multiple-Time All American for Duke University

She is stoked to be a part of the Endurance Collective Team (even if her event is only 49 to 52 seconds long hahaha) .... add what you think here about our values aligning ... YAY
