Duxbury Historic Archives has added a new collection in time to honor Duxbury veterans.The Duxbury War Dead Identification Project completed by Chandler Quintin Rodriguez was part of his Eagle Scouts requirement for Troup 62 of Duxbury.

Included are all wars including Colonial wars (1620–1774), War of Independence (1775–1783), American Civil War (1861–1865), Indian Wars (1865–1870), Spanish-American War (1898), Banana Wars (1898-1935), World War I (1917–1918), World War II (1939–1945), Korean War, Lebanon crisis of 1958, Vietnam War, Grenada, Beirut, Panama, Gulf War, Somalia, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Philippines, Iraq until 2010. or our veterans on Memorial Day. DUXBURY WAR DEAD! This collection features Mayflower Cemetery including 1114 veterans. Go ahead, submit a search request, let's honor our Duxbury veterans this day. Keep returning and discover new additions to this collection this summer. http://duxburyhistoricarchives.org

Volunteers have published the grave photos here and others are transcribing and adding descriptions for each person, the war they particpated in, the branch of service they served and cemetery location.
