Celebrating Compassion at Dyersburg
At Dyersburg Health & Rehabilitation Center, we are proud to recognize Paula Coffman, LPN, for the incredible care and compassion she showed to a family during the loss of their loved one. Paula’s dedication, empathy, and professionalism reflect the very heart of nursing, where compassion and healing come together.
"I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for one of your nurses, Paula Coffman, for the exceptional care and compassion she provided during the recent passing of my mother-in-law, [Resident].
During such an incredibly difficult time for our family, Paula went above and beyond in her care and duties. Her actions brought tremendous comfort to our family during an incredibly emotional and difficult time. Her compassion, attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine empathy brought immense comfort not only to my mother-in-law in her final moments, but also to all of us who were grieving. Paula ensured that [Resident] was treated with dignity and respect, and continually made sure we were informed, supported, and cared for.
Paula displayed a level of compassion, professionalism, and humanity that truly stood out. She was attentive not only to the medical needs of [Resident], but also to the needs of our family. Her calm presence and gentle care made a lasting impression on us all. She treated my mother-in-law with dignity and respect throughout the final moments and made sure we were never alone in our grief.
In times like these, having someone like Paula makes all the difference. She exemplifies the heart of nursing and is a testament to the standard of care at Dyersburg Rehabilitation Memory Care Unit. Her actions are a testament to the high standards of your nursing staff, and we believe she deserves to be recognized for her exceptional work.
