Raechel Tracy is a Physical Therapist Assistant at our Gallatin clinic! Raechel is from Gallatin and attended Vol State and Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). She loves animals and has trained therapy dogs that she used in physical therapy in the past.

Last week, Daniel Headrick, our Industrial Specialist, was invited to teach Work Conditioning at the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association Conference. The conference hosted Safety and Work Comp Managers from utility companies across Middle, West, and East Tennessee. Dan explained the benefits of Work Conditioning, how it can protect against injuries through proper preparation, and the evidence showing that Work Conditioning lessens disability and improves work ability.

Last Thursday, STAR Physical Therapy had the privilege of attending the Freed-Hardeman University PTA Clinical Education Appreciation Night, hosted by West Tennessee Bone & Joint Institute!

The evening featured excellent presentations from Dr. Jace Smith, Dr. W. Stan Ragon, and Physical Therapists Tom Johnson, PT, and Kristi Greene, PT, who shared valuable education on topics including Anterior THA and ACL Reconstruction & Rehab. The knowledge and insight gained will directly impact how we serve our patients on their rehabilitation journeys.

We had the best time at the 2025 STAR Physical Therapy and West Tennessee Bone & Joint Institute High School Football Jamboree at Dyersburg High School!

We saw many familiar faces, taped a lot of ankles, and had the pleasure of presenting the game ball with WTBJI to the Dyersburg Trojans! What a great way to kick off football season in Northwest Tennessee!
