The doors to Cape Surgery Center, LLC first opened 20 years ago in Dyersburg. We are beyond grateful to have a phenomenal surgical support staff consisting of specialty trained registered nurses, scrub technicians, certified ophthalmic assistants, surgery schedulers, insurance department and front desk receptionists. Each team member specializes in the care and treatment of eye disease, surgery and insurance. None of this would have come into fruition without our spectacular eye surgeon, Richard Cape, MD, FACS and his administrator Stephanie Potts Cape, RN, BSN that pursued his vision to open Cape Surgery Center, LLC. His goal was to offer state of the art eye surgery to the residents of Dyersburg and its surrounding counties.

We salute the Capes and the staff of Cape Surgery Center, LLC on a job extremely well done!

Kudos to our hard working team! Drs. Cape and Irvin and our dedicated Team Cape staff attended Saturday morning (onsite in Nashville and remotely from Dyersburg) the Tennessee Code Quest conference for eye surgeons and their office personnel. Regular participation in continuing education keeps our doctors and staff knowledgeable about current laws and requirements and on the cutting edge. Great job Team Cape👊🏻

Boy oh boy are we happy to have this sweet girl back!!! Baby Jett made his arrival in late November and decided he would share mama with us again! We couldn't be more thrilled! Welcome back sweet Emilee! Your work family loves and missed you😊😊😊
