Travis Wayne Peevyhouse, 54, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at his residence. Born August 9, 1971, he is the son of Sherry Long and the late Bobby Glen Peevyhouse. He was a forklift operator at Maclellan in Newbern. Travis was a 1989 graduate of Dyersburg High School.

Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery officiated by Reverend Ronnie Turner.

He is survived by his mother, Sherry Spain Long, his sister, Jill Peevyhouse, both of Dyersburg; his niece, Alleah Robyn Peevyhouse; his nephew, Travis Shane Peevyhouse; his aunt, Wanda Worley (James) of Knoxville; and his lifelong friends, Wayne Wieberg, Lisa Runions and Kim Po***ck.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Glen Peevyhouse and his step-father, Johnny Long;

William “Sonny” Lawrence Brice, Jr., 77, of Friendship, died Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Okeena Health and Rehabilitation. Born September 3, 1947, he was the son of the late William Lawrence, Sr. and Celia Edna Holland Brice. He retired from ABB in Alamo. Mr. Brice proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2025, in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. Ricky Ray with interment to follow in Friendship Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 4th from 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his children, Michelle Kolwyck (Tony) of Dyersburg, Monica Climer (Jerry) of Friendship, Michael Brice (Rebeccia) of Drummonds, Matthew Brice (Latisha) of Clarkton, MO, Tommy Ray (Tammy) of Dyersburg, Ricky Ray (Shanova) of Sherwood, AR, Stacy Ray (Janie) and Tony Ray (Pam), both of Parsons; one sister, Brenda Wyrick of Dyersburg; thirty grandchildren; thirty eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Michael Brice, Matthew Brice, Ricky Ray, Stacy Ray, Tommy Ray, Tony Ray, Jerry Climer and Tony Kolwyck will serve as pallbearers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Brice and his sister, Belinda Brice.

James H. “Jack” Robbins, 95, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, August 28, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg. Born June 4, 1930, he was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Wellington and Eva Ure Faust Robbins. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Jack was a Shriner in Memphis.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2025, in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 31st beginning at 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynne Walker and husband, Jeff of Hendersonville; two grandchildren, Rex Walker, Grace Trussell (Mark); and two great-grandchildren, Walker Trussell and Grey Trussell.

Rex Walker, Mark Trussell, Dob Johnson, Jason Boswell, Mark Boswell and Will Johnson will serve as pallbearers.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Laverne Boswell Robbins; two sisters, Mary Shettles, Peggy Collins; and one brother, Larry Robbins.

The family requests memorials be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 or to the charity of donor’s choice.
