Last Wednesday, Bri Beltran, owner of SYNERGY, had the heartfelt honor of serving as the emcee for the Rotary Veterans Day Luncheon, an event we’ve eagerly anticipated and carefully planned over several months.
During this meaningful gathering, we had the privilege of honoring three incredible veterans who courageously shared their powerful stories with us.
Chuck Bauer, a proud U.S. Army veteran who served with the 25th Infantry Division, displayed remarkable bravery. Stationed in Trang Bang, Vietnam, he achieved the rank of E4 and was awarded two Purple Hearts, a testament to his sacrifices and unwavering spirit. After sustaining injuries that resulted in the loss of his left hand, Chuck endured a difficult recovery at Fitzsimons Army Hospital, demonstrating resilience and strength.
Darrell Foss, another valiant U.S. Army veteran, served honorably with the 120th Aviation Company during the Vietnam War. From 1964 to 1966, he showed incredible courage as a helicopter door gunner and crew chief, always putting his fellow soldiers and country first, exemplifying dedication and sacrifice.
Robert Dittle dedicated over 25 years of his life to serving in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of Technical Sergeant. His career took him to bases in New Hampshire and California, and he bravely served in Bahrain during the Gulf War, contributing vital efforts to protect and support our nation.
We are deeply grateful to all these veterans for their sacrifices and steadfast dedication. Their stories remind us of the true cost of freedom and the extraordinary courage of those who serve our country.
