Threads of Hope Counseling was founded in 2015 with the vision of reaching people in the twin cities with quality Christian counseling. We have a staff of well-trained and compassionate therapists who work with adults, couples, children, teens, and families. We offer individual therapy, family therapy, play therapy, art therapy, group therapy, and workshops. Our therapists are all Masters level Christian Counselors who enjoy integrating their faith to the extent that clients desire to do so. We strive to uphold the highest levels of integrity in the way we practice and do business. We believe respect and compassion are critical for our clients to have a healing, encouraging, and empowering experience with us. We love to connect with you through social media to offer encouragement, articles of interest, and laughter throughout your day; however, social media is not a good outlet for sharing private concerns or scheduling requests. We will ask you to reach out to the office by phone with these requests in order to protect your privacy. Any disrespectful communication will be deleted and users may be blocked from this page to encourage a welcoming and safe atmosphere for all users in line with our mission.

Our Story

Threads of Hope Counseling was founded in 2015 with the vision of reaching people in the twin cities with quality Christian counseling. At a previous practice, I kept seeing clients who drove upwards of 50 minutes because they were seeking faith-based therapists and couldn’t find anyone in their area. I knew that there were good Christian Counselors to be found, but they were not openly advertising themselves so that these people could find them. I felt called to offer distinctively Christian Counseling to better serve people in the Church throughout the twin cities and surrounding areas. While we definitely work with clients who are not Christian (probably 50% of our clients) or do not want much integration of faith into their work, we also work with a number of clients who deeply value the connection and being able to process concerns incorporating their faith and spirituality into the experience.
