Connection matters more than we sometimes realize.

It's not just about having people around--
it's about feeling seen, heard, and understood.

Strong social connections can:
πŸ’š Reduce stress
πŸ’š Build resilience
πŸ’š Support overall wellbeing

Even small moments of connection can make a difference.
A conversation.
A message.
A check-in.

You don't have to do everything alone.

πŸ’¬ What's one way you stay connected with others?

A new week is coming.

You don't have to have everything figured out.
You don't have to be perfect.
You don't have to do it all at once.

You can start small.
You can take it one step at a time.
You can begin again.

Whatever this past week looked like, you're allowed to move forward in your own way.

πŸ’š Wishing you a week filled with hope, patience, and moments of peace.

If you needed this reminder, there's a good chance someone else does too.

πŸ‘‰ Share this to start the week with someone in mind.

Starting tonight.

For some young people, nights are the hardest.

When things get quiet, thoughts can get louder.
And it can feel like there's no one to talk to.

That's why we're expanding our Peer Support Connection Warmline to include youth.

Sometimes your mind just needs a reset.

Not a full plan.
Not a big change.
Just a moment.

A few minutes outside.
A breath of fresh air.
Noticing something small you might usually miss.

It doesn't have to be perfect to help.

If you can today, step outside for a moment and see how you feel.

πŸ’¬ What's something in nature that helps you slow down?

Weekend reminder:

You don't have to catch up on everything.
You don't have to be productive the whole time.
You don't have to push yourself past your limits.

Rest counts.
Slowing down counts.
Taking care of yourself counts.

Whatever this weekend looks like for you, it's okay to move at your own pace.

If you needed this reminder, there's a good chance someone else does too.

πŸ’š Share this with someone who might need permission to rest.

A lot of people don't sign up because they think:

"I don't have a big enough team."

But the truth is...
you don't need one.

A team can be:
β€’ Just you
β€’ You and one other person
β€’ A couple of friends
β€’ Two coworkers who care about this

That's it.

You don't need a big group.
You don't need experience.
You don't need to have it all figured out.

You just need to start.

Because every team helps us reach people across Minnesota who need connection, support, and someone who understands.

πŸŽ™ New Podcast Episode

Some stories stay with you.

This week on the Wellness in the Woods Podcast, we sit down with Suz Pohl for a deeply moving conversation:
"Courage, Strength, & Grief"

Suz shares her journey as a mother who experienced the unimaginable--losing three children to a rare genetic disorder.

This conversation is about:
β€’ Grief & remembrance
β€’ Strength in the face of loss
β€’ Finding ways to keep going when everything changes

It's a powerful reminder of both the depth of grief and the resilience of the human spirit.

If you've experienced loss, or if you want to better understand how to support someone who has, this episode is worth your time.

There are people out there who need to hear your voice.

Your story.
Your perspective.
Your experience.

Not because it's perfect.
But because it's real.

The 2026 Wellness in the Woods Annual Conference is built on connection, lived experience, and the belief that hope grows when we share it with one another.

This year's theme: The Power of Hope

If you've ever thought, "I might have something to share..." this is your invitation.

We are looking for speakers who can:
🌲 Share lived experience
🌲 Inspire connection
🌲 Create space for honest conversation

You don't have to have all the answers.
You just have to be willing to show up.
