It was Top the Tater Tuesday. The options were Nacho Cheese, Bacon , Sour Cream with Chives, or Philly Cheesesteak. The menu consisted of baked potatoes, hot dogs, a fresh vegetable salad, and a fruit Jell-O salad.

So proud of our employee Shenelle Widow who came home during Spring Break and worked with myself and Duane Dupris and our Housekeeping team to get our Visitation rooms ready on 300 and 400 wing ! We have a few finishing touches to complete but these rooms are available for our elders and their families. One room will have a Wii game setup for the youth and Elders to use. All of these rooms have a small Patio to sit outside this summer also.

MedicineWheelVillage enjoyed a productive day, highlighted by the preparation of Po'Boy Sandwiches with homemade Remilaude sauce, viral chopped subs, potato soup, and a dessert assortment of cookies. Our staff was honored with an Employee Appreciation party in the afternoon. The evening featured a supper and basketball watch party offering mini ham and cheese sandwiches, barbecue pork, baked beans, and ice cream.
