Thank you to everyone who came out to Polk Training Center's first plant sale today. It was a great success. We appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time to attend. It means alot to have such community support. Keep an eye out for dates of future sales. We will eventually have a more permanent schedule a couple days during the week as well. That info will be posted as soon as a decision is made. Thank you again!!!

Thank you to Polk County School District for including us in your Family Engagement Conference today at Boone Middle School. I met so many wonderful families, district employees, and other agencies. It was definitely a success! Looking forward to the Conference on October 25th at Mulberry Middle School. If anyone is interested in more info, please reach out to the School district. It is a great resource for families and provides so much valuable information!

Took a quick trip to the Lake Wales History Museum today. It was our original plan but it was unexpectedly closed. We made the best of it and got to see the train caboose and a couple old fire trucks from the Lake Wales Fire Department. We also enjoyed a peaceful lunch as Lake Shipp Park. There's always next time 😁

Today, we took a quick trip to the Winter Haven library. They have so much to offer. Clients were encouraged to apply for a library card. Their favorite thing was the Sensory Garden. Such a beautiful and relaxing space. (And the coffee and pastries in the coffeeshop smell amazing!!!)

Today was our 1st Annual Tailgate Party to "kickoff" the football season. Clients had a great time including a hot dog lunch and watched a previous Super Bowl. They even represented their favorite team!
