🚌School is back-Let's check in🧠
The first days of school can set the tone for the rest of the year.
New classes, new friends, and new pressures can be exciting-but they can also feel overwhelming.
If you notice changes in your student like:
⚠️ Withdrawing from friends or family
⚠️ Sudden drop in grades or interest in activities
⚠️ Mood swings, irritability, or secrecy
⚠️ Signs of substance use
don't wait to reach out. Early support can change everything.
Every conversation matters. Every student matters. Let's make sure they start the year supported, not just enrolled. 💛

Thank you to all who participated in making this event a success. We appreciate you all.

📚Back to School means a Fresh Start-Let's Start Strong, Inside and Out🧠
As students, head back to class next week, let's remember: mental health is just as important as school supplies.
New schedules, social pressure, and academic stress can trigger anxiety, depression, or even risky behaviors like substance use. But it doesn't have to go unspoken-or unsupported.
📅This week is the perfect time to have honest conversations at home and remind your kids:
👉It's ok to not be okay.
👉Asking for help is a sign of strength.
👉They're never alone.
Let's make this school year one of growth, safety, and emotional wellness-together.

Whether you're heading back to school, back to routine, or just trying to get back to yourself-your mental health matters.
💬Struggles with substance use or emotional health don't take a break for the summer. But support is always in season.
📍 August is the perfect time to check in, reset, and reach out.
No shame. No pressure. Just real support.

☀️July is for Mental Wellness and Prevention

As the summer heats up, let's take a moment to cool down and reflect how we're taking care of ourselves and our communities.💛
🌍July is BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) Mental Health Month, a time to raise awareness about unique challenges many communities face when it comes to mental health care and support. Mental health doesn't exist in a vacuum-and neither does recovery.
💬If you or someone you love is struggling with substance use or mental health challenges, you're not alone. Early intervention, open conversations, and community support can make all the difference.
🧠Substance use prevention starts with mental health support, safe spaces, and access to care. Recovery is possible. Healing is real. You matter.
✨This month, check in on a friend. Reach out for help. Practice self-care like your life depends on it-because sometimes, it does.
📱Save this number: SAMHSA's 24/7 Helpline-1-800-662-HELP (4357) It's free, confidential, and always there.
Let's break the stigma and lift each other up-one conversation at a time.

As Men's Mental Health comes to a close, let's keep this truth front and center.
Struggling in silence leads too many men to suffer-and often self-medicate.
Substance use is not weakness. It's often a response to pain, pressure, and feeling like there's no safe place to talk. But there is help, and there is hope.
Let's keep breaking the stigma. Let's keep creating space where men can be vulnerable, get support, and heal without shame.
To every man battling mental health and addiction-you are not alone, and your story isn't over.

At SCAN, we believe in supporting the whole person-mind, body, and spirit. Mental health challenges and substance use often go hand in hand, and both deserve understanding, compassion, and care.
Many people use substances to cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, or overwhelming stress. But true healing comes from addressing the root causes and building a strong support system.
If you or someone you love is struggling, please know: you are not alone. There is hope. There is help.
✔️Let's break the stigma.
✔️Let's start honest conversations.
✔️Let's build a healthier, more supportive community-together.
