🌿 Retreat Reflections 🌿
Blue Heart Springs • August 22–24

This past weekend was one I’ll carry with me for a long time.

A beautiful group of women gathered together—many of them seeking something quiet and essential: space to unplug, permission to open up to new connections, and a willingness to share in something honest and grounding.

We floated down the Snake River, kayaked to the turquoise waters of Blue Heart Springs, and soaked under the stars at Miracle Hot Springs. But what made it unforgettable was the way everyone showed up—with presence, vulnerability, and joy.

Friendships blossomed around the campfire. Laughter echoed over meals. And in still moments, we remembered how good it feels to slow down and simply be ourselves!

I’m so grateful for the women who trusted me to guide this retreat and for the energy we created together. This kind of magic doesn’t happen every day—and I’m so proud to be part of something so rooted, alive, and real.

🌿 The Three Vital Essences in Ayurveda — and How to Care for Them 🌿

In Ayurveda, Prana, Tejas, and Ojas are the subtle energies that govern your breath, radiance, and vitality. When these are in balance, you feel calm, clear, energized, and resilient. Here’s how to nurture — or accidentally deplete — them in daily life:



🌬️ PRANA (Life force energy, breath of life)
Nourish it with: Conscious breathing, time in nature, meditation, proper rest
Depletes when: You’re constantly multitasking, living indoors, scrolling late into the night
🧘‍♀️ Example: 10 mins of breathwork in the morning instead of reaching for your phone = Prana boost!



🔥 TEJAS (Inner fire and radiance)
Nourish it with: Warm, spiced foods, sunlight, clarity of purpose, meditation
Depletes when: You overwork, suppress emotions, eat too many cold/raw foods
🔥 Example: Adding ginger tea to your afternoon or journaling out your goals can help build Tejas.



💧 OJAS (Immunity, stability, deep nourishment)
Nourish it with: Rest, warm oil massage, healthy fats, hugs, and slow mornings
Depletes when: You burn out, skip meals, stay up too late, or live in high stress
💛 Example: Swapping Netflix binges for 9:30 PM bedtime and ghee-roasted veggies = major Ojas gain.
