Chronic shoulder pain is often fixable without surgery. "Wear & tear" arthritis most commonly develops from adhesion in the surrounding rotator cuff muscles by increasing stress on the joint.
Fixing adhesion improves motion, unloads the joint, and reduces pain. Injections and surgery are not your only options.

Muscles feel tight for 2 main reasons:
1. Adhesion - connective tissue buildup from overuse
2. Protection - muscles pull “tight” to protect a joint problem by unloading it.

Fortunately fixing adhesion reduces tightness and unloads the involved joint, preventing further damage.

If your muscles are still tight despite hours of stretching, foam rolling, adjustments, rehab exercises, or medications, you likely have adhesion.

Don’t wait for tightness to turn in to a bigger problem.

Osteoarthritis a.k.a. ‘wear & tear’ arthritis is a common cause of knee pain.
In a valley of weekend warriors this problem can limit your fun in the mountains.

Joints degenerate much faster when the surrounding tissues can’t provide support. This happens most often when muscles, tendons, and ligaments develop adhesion.

Adhesion is an abnormal development of connective “scar” tissue which acts like glue, preventing full motion & strength.

Overuse, trauma, and sustained contractions are the primary ways adhesion develops. Reducing motion & strength, adhesion increases stress on the joint accelerating degenerative conditions like osteoarthritis.

Fortunately adhesion is completely fixable with expert care. Reducing adhesion improves motion which decompresses the joint allowing it to heal. Once motion is restored the muscles can quickly gain strength to add support to the joint.

It’s not just about fixing pain, it’s about giving you your life back. That’s our goal.

Foraminal stenosis is a narrowing of space where nerves exit the spine (“pinched nerve”).

This occurs either from arthritis, as bones grow to stabilize degeneration, and/or from disc injuries taking up space.

This condition doesn’t happen randomly or only from trauma. In almost every case limited neck motion is the underlying cause by increasing load/pressure on the spine.

Fibrotic adhesion is by far the most common cause of limited motion because it acts like glue sticking tissues together.

With the right care, adhesion is completely fixable which takes pressure off the spine, allowing nerves to “breath” with more space. In effect, this reduces pain from stenosis and slows down further degeneration.

If you’ve been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, you have more options than surgery. We see these cases every day with a high success rate.

The first interaction with a new patient is about collecting and interpreting data to establish a complete and accurate diagnosis.

Only after we have a genuine understanding of their problem we begin to resolve it. It’s better to go slow and get it right than to jump in doing the wrong thing.

Try it out: stand sideways to a mirror, turning only your head (no shoulder movement) toward the mirror.

Can you see both ears? Or just the side toward the mirror?

If your face isn't 'squared up', it's difficult or painful, you likely have adhesion. 👎
