This month, five of our lovely therapists from Restore PT took a break from their busy schedules to head over to Lake Stevens, Washington, for some hands-on training in dry needling, specifically focusing on the pelvic floor. It was an amazing opportunity for them to learn, grow, and improve their skills.

The experience was not only educational but also a wonderful opportunity for our therapists to bond and share their passion for learning. By expanding their understanding and capabilities in dry needling, they are now even better equipped to help their patients feel their best.

We're so proud of our team for their dedication to learning and their commitment to delivering top-notch care!

We are thrilled to partner once again with Eagle Physical Therapy and Rebound Physical Therapy for this year's step challenge! Throughout June, we’re encouraging our staff to get moving and log as many steps as possible.

This challenge is not just a fantastic way to stay active, but also a wonderful opportunity to give back to our community. For every step recorded, we will make donations to local charities alongside Eagle PT and Rebound PT. It's a win-win!

Join us in this effort by challenging yourself to be active this month and see how many steps you can accumulate. Let's make a difference together! 🏃‍♀️💨

The beginning of June marks the start of Eagle PT’s second annual STEPS2CHANGE walking challenge. Last year we challenged all of our staff to get out and walk and be active during the month of June. For every step they recorded we committed to donating a $ amount to local charities. Last year Eagle PT along with it’s sister clinics Rebound Physical Therapy and Restore Physical Therapy donated over $17,000 to two charities in honor of the STEPS taken by our staffs 2 make a CHANGE! This year the beneficiaries that we’ve selected are Operation Grateful Hearts, Women’s and Children’s Alliance and RiverHouse Global, all great charities that are making a huge difference.
This year we are inviting you to join us! First, get out and move this month! June is a wonderful month to get out and enjoy the city, the foothills and the mountain trails! Second, find a charity or two that is making a difference and commit to supporting them…you win, they win, we all win! This year is a great year to take the STEPS2CHANGE!

The pelvic floor muscles are vital for supporting pelvic organs and maintaining bladder control, bowel function, and sexual health. Just like other muscles, they require specific nutrients for optimal function. Protein, found in lean meats, dairy, legumes, and plant-based sources, supports muscle repair and growth. Vitamins like D, E, and C contribute to muscle strength, protection, and collagen synthesis, respectively. Minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium aid in muscle contraction and relaxation. Proper hydration is also crucial for muscle health. A balanced diet rich in these nutrients can help maintain the strength and integrity of the pelvic floor muscles, promoting overall pelvic health and function.

Below you will find a great recipe, perfect for the summer season and packed with nutrients to keep your pelvic floor muscles happy and healthy! This protein-packed quinoa salad is not only delicious but is also filled with nutrients that support muscle health. Quinoa is a complete protein, meaning it contains all nine essential amino acids necessary for muscle repair and growth. Chickpeas add even more protein and fiber, while the colorful array of vegetables provides essential vitamins and minerals. Enjoy this salad as a satisfying and nourishing meal that contributes to your overall pelvic health and well-being!
