With the colder weather surrounding us, the warmth hot yoga provides has so many health benefits!
1. Increased flexibility
Heat warms muscles allowing deeper stretches with less resistance!

2. Improved circulation
Heat causes blood vessels to dilate, increasing oxygen delivery to muscles and organs.

3. Strength building
Holding poses in heat builds muscular endurance and stabilizing strength.

4. Detoxification through sweat
While the liver and kidneys do true detoxing, sweating supports skin health and may help eliminate small amounts of toxins and heavy metals.

5. Joint lubrication
Movement in heat increases synovial fluid production, supporting joint health and mobility.

6. Cardiovascular conditioning
Heart rate elevates similarly to moderate cardio, improving stamina and heart health.

7. Weight management support
Burns more calories than non-heated yoga due to increased metabolic demand and effort.

8. Improved posture and alignment
Heat allows deeper access to tight areas, supporting better postural awareness.

9. Enhanced respiratory capacity
Breathing through heat improves lung efficiency and breath control.

10. Pain relief
Can reduce chronic muscle stiffness, lower back pain, and tension patterns.

11. Stress reduction
Heat activates the parasympathetic nervous system post-practice, reducing cortisol.

12. Improved focus and concentration
The challenge of heat sharpens present-moment awareness.

13. Emotional release
Heat + movement often unlock stored emotional tension in fascia and nervous system.

14. Increased resilience
Staying calm in discomfort trains nervous system regulation and distress tolerance.

15. Mood enhancement
Boosts endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin.

16. Better sleep
Many practitioners report deeper sleep after hot yoga.

17. Nervous system regulation
Heat combined with slow breathing improves vagal tone and autonomic balance.

18. Trauma-informed somatic integration
Heat increases interoception — awareness of internal sensation — supporting embodiment work.

19. Improved mind-body connection
Heightened sensitivity deepens intuitive movement and self-trust.

✨ Heart-Opening Community Yoga ✨
This class is an invitation to slow down, soften, and return to love as your center. Through gentle, heart-opening movement and breath, we cultivate compassion for ourselves and deepen our capacity to navigate relationships with presence and authenticity.

This isn’t about forcing positivity — it’s about building sustainable self-love, nervous system safety, and meaningful connection in community.

Come breathe, move, and heal together. 💫

We will be following the class up with a free guided meditation to EVOLve into Love along side other studios in the city. The meditation will be a played over the speaker system, via Spotify. Jaclyn, of , has curated a special one, specifically for our intention. We’ll start the guided meditation simultaneously, at 2:22pm (numerology significance of partnerships/collaboration, balance/ harmony).
