To the incredible patients of Eagleville Medical Clinic,
It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you that I will be stepping down from my position as a primary care provider here in Eagleville. This decision has been a deeply personal one, made after much thought and consideration.
First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude to each of you for welcoming me into your lives and entrusting me with your healthcare needs. Serving this community has been an incredibly fulfilling experience, and I am grateful for the relationships I have formed with each and every one of you. From duck walking with your precious kids for their sports physicals, to celebrating improvements in blood pressures and A1cs, to facing scary diagnoses together, to simply seeing you for annual visits and hearing about your grandbabies, the past few years have been some of the best of my career. So many of you became like family members to me (if you weren’t already).
Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, I must prioritize my family's needs at this time. This was not at all an easy decision. At times, it felt impossible to walk away from a “job” that involves caring for people I absolutely adore. So I thank you for making it more than just a job to me. Your trust and support have meant the world to me, and I will carry the memories of our time together throughout my career.
My last day at Eagleville Medical Clinic will be 7/31/24 and nurse practitioner Lindsey Lackey will be my replacement.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or the clinic. I am here to assist in any way I can during this transition.
Thank you once again for allowing me the privilege of being your primary care provider. It has been an honor to serve this community, and I will always hold our time together close to my heart.
Warmest regards,
Alison “Lizzie” Dodd
