We provide caring professional support and services, creating life-changing solutions for the individuals and families we serve. Families:
Families are at the heart of The Arc Alliance, Formerly The Arc of Montgomery, Berks & Bucks Counties. Serving more than 900 children in the Early Intervention program per year, 2,400 families who need advocacy services for a family member with a disability per

year and with a membership of 1,500 and growing, The Arc Alliance works to better the lives of people with intellectual and other developmental needs. Community:
Founded in 1951, the organization has grown to become a major influence in the area. With the growing demand for services from surrounding counties, The Arc Alliance has worked diligently to expand its early intervention into Chester and Philadelphia counties.

Bill shared, “Getting this computer will help me be a better self-advocate. I’ll be able to Google things, save documents, and do other tasks I can’t on my cell phone.”

Some of our staff joined our friend Sue to celebrate her move\ from North Wales to Newtown! 🎉
Sue has lived in her North Wales apartment for the past 30 years, and over the years, she’s become a well-loved part of the community.
With deep roots in the area and so many meaningful connections, it was no surprise that friends, neighbors, and community members showed up to give her a proper send-off! 💐
We’re so excited for your next chapter, Sue!

Thanks to a generous donation, we’ve been able to refurbish our old laptops and give them a second life! 💻

Having a laptop helps her feel included—like everyone else—since most people have one. She’s now using it to stay connected with family back in Nepal and to watch videos for fitness, cultural immersion, and leisure. 💙

🌟 Meet Cheryl! 🧡✨

Cheryl has been a valued Occupational Therapist with The Arc Alliance since 2008. She joined our team after a friend who worked here recommended it, and Cheryl jumped right in! She shares, “Working with people who authentically want to make a difference was a game changer for me.”

When she’s not helping others, Cheryl loves exploring the outdoors — capturing nature photos while hiking is one of her favorite pastimes. Last September, she hiked 40 miles through Glacier National Park in Montana! She also enjoys playful backyard games and cozy snuggles with her dogs by the fire pit.

Springtime brings her joy in gardening (though she’s not a fan of summer humidity). Cheryl has a creative side too, with a passion for interior design! And when it’s time to hit the road, Cheryl’s a proud Jeep girl who loves decking out her ride and cruising around to country tunes!

Our friend Nick has been working hard and advocating for himself—and it’s paying off! He recently moved into a new home with a residential provider that’s a better fit for him, and he’s already loving it. Way to go, Nick! 👏

Thanks to a generous donation, we’ve been able to refurbish our old laptops and give them a second life! 💻

Billy will benefit greatly from having a laptop both at his program and at home. His team has been eager to support him in strengthening his communication skills, but not having access to a laptop made that challenging.

Now, with his new device, Billy will be able to use the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)—a tool designed to support individuals with communication difficulties.
