Prisma Health was proud to host the 2026 Women’s Health Research Forum, an annual event hosted by our Midlands OB/GYN department, a tradition that began in 2007.

This year’s theme, “Equity in Action: Bridging Clinical Care and Community Realities to Advance Women’s Health,” focused on translating research into practice while addressing the real-world challenges that impact women across the lifespan. The forum brought together clinicians, researchers and community partners for a day of learning, collaboration and meaningful dialogue.

A highlight of the event was the research poster session featuring innovative projects in women’s health. We’re grateful to our faculty judges and congratulate all participants, especially those recognized for their outstanding work in advancing research, care and community impact.

The Women’s Health Research Forum continues to grow in engagement and visibility within Prisma Health and the broader academic and clinical community. The next forum is scheduled for Friday, April 2, 2027, continuing the forum’s commitment to elevating women’s health research and collaboration across Prisma Health. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s forum a success!
