👉 This happened to us today… and it shouldn’t.

Today was a tough reminder of why gluten-free integrity truly matters.

We went out for breakfast and Tracy — who handcrafts our botanical lozenges and lives strictly gluten-free — did everything right. She asked for the gluten-free menu, confirmed the order, and trusted the restaurant. Later we found out… it wasn’t actually gluten-free.

For people with gluten sensitivities or allergies, this isn’t just inconvenient. It can mean real physical reactions, lost days, and a lot of frustration.

Restaurants: if you offer gluten-free options, please follow proper protocols. Prevent cross-contamination. Train staff. And only label something gluten-free if it truly is.

This is exactly why we’re so committed at Essential Candy.
We’re a certified gluten-free facility by the GFCO and every lozenge we make meets those standards — because people like Tracy (and so many of you) depend on it.

We met Donna at a local art & craft event where she tried our Digestive Blend™ lozenges and shared a concern many people have—sugar and blood glucose.

Donna wears a continuous glucose monitor and checked her levels about 20 minutes after enjoying a lozenge…

She was genuinely amazed.
