We are thrilled to announce that Suzanne Thomas (aka Suzi) has joined the Brotherton Child Development Center at the YMCA as our new CDC Assistant Director!

Suzi brings decades of experience and a deep passion for early childhood education to our growing CDC team. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Southern Wesleyan University and has worked in the field for over 25 years.

We can’t wait to see how God works through Suzi’s leadership as we continue to grow and impact lives in our community. Please join us in giving her a warm YMCA welcome!

Staff Announcement: Our new CDC Director, Cheryl Banks!

We are so excited to announce that Cheryl Banks is our new CDC Director for the The Brotherton Child Development Center at the YMCA. Cheryl has worked in early childhood education for 30 years, both in Germany and the United States. She has been in childcare administration since 2007, most recently as the Director of the Geer Memorial CDC. We are excited to see how God moves and works through Cheryl's leadership and this new CDC, allowing our YMCA to serve hundreds more individuals in our community.

We are anticipating to open fall of 2025 and will be serving infants through 4k in the Easley area.
