Dr. Matthew Walla DDS, is board eligible Orthodontist and Invisalign Elite provider. Owl Orthodontics offers braces and Invisalign for children and adults.

Braces aren’t just for teens! While many patients begin treatment in adolescence (or even adulthood), some kids can benefit from early orthodontic care, also known as Phase I treatment.⁠

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic visit around age 7. For most children, this visit is simply a check-in to monitor growth and development. But in some cases, early treatment can help guide jaw growth, create space for incoming teeth, and make future treatment easier and more efficient.⁠

Cold temps can make retainers and Invisalign® trays more fragile and cause plastic to warp or crack, so remember to keep them close, keep them warm, and never leave them in the car.
