The ROC would like to thank our long-time supporter and friend Vicki Feine for serving on the Board of Directors here at The ROC. As Vicki's term comes to an end, we thought it was important to take a moment to say "thank you" - for the guidance, support, and belief that Vicki has invested in The ROC over the years. From our early years (even before she joined the Board), through our capital campaign, and now seeing The ROC grow into the organization it is today, Vicki has been a part of The ROC's story.

Thank you, Vicki! We are so grateful for your belief in The ROC's mission and our work.

A huge thank you to our friends at Astronics! They collected a ton of goodies for our Christmas-Palooza Market happening this weekend, where our ROC kids will be able to pick out and wrap gifts for their family members and loved ones.

This market is a fantastic opportunity for our kids to get in the giving spirit, show their love for others, and have a great time. We are so thankful to Astronics for helping make the market possible again this year!

We are thrilled to share that our friends at Rick's on Main Restaurant are once again offering the opportunity to have your very own igloo for Carolcade! The three highest bidders will have all night access to an igloo, with the proceeds being split between The ROC and PUNT Pediatric Cancer Collaborative. Don't miss out on this awesome opportunity!

Your support makes this possible. Every day, mentors, volunteers, and donors help us provide life-changing support for children and families in rural poverty.

We're taking a trip down memory lane today! In 2019, The ROC was still operating out of a repurposed FEMA trailer and provided approximately 200 children with new winter coats and boots. Due to space restrictions, we pre-selected and bagged the coats and boots for each child. This year, 350 children received Winter Prep thanks to the generous support of the East Hill Foundation and many local businesses and organizations. We also continued a tradition started last year, where kids and their families were able to attend a 'Winter Prep Pop Up' to pick out what color coat they wanted. Putting choices back in our families' hands offers dignity and serves as a reminder that a child's socioeconomic status shouldn't have to get in the way of the joy a kid feels when they find something that fits them inside and out.
