We regret to inform everyone about the passing of life member Keith Baker. Keith was a dedicated member and emergency responder with our company. Keith was a member for 57 years. He served on many boards throughout the years and was a past President and a past Vice President. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May you rest in peace.

Now that we had a little time to exhale. I would like to put a couple of thank you’s out there.

Thank you to our members for stepping up and meeting a busy schedule of escorts, cleaning, setting up, making food and tearing down. We had a great turnout for a daytime viewing and service. Thank you to the surrounding companies that helped at the walk of life, escorts, cleaning, providing casket watch personnel, color guard, ladder trucks for the flags, kitchen help the day of, standbys to cover our area when we were out, All Fire Police that helped over multiple days, police motor escorts, Adams and York 911 and so on. Thank you to our community with assistance with food and other needs.

Makes me proud to have a company that comes together and makes things happen. I wanted to take a photo of the group that came Wednesday but I forgot. some have left already but we did get a picture with couple that were still there. I believe we honored Kevin as best we could.

Information regarding LODD of Firefighter/EMT, Kevin Brehm’s viewing and services for Wednesday the 15th.

Viewing will be at Fieser funeral home in East Berlin (306 Harrisburg street) from 10:00-11:00. Starting close to 11:30 there will be a short procession from the funeral home to the East Berlin Fire Station. We asked that any available personnel line locust Street by the firehouse at that time. The funeral service will be conducted in the engine bay, and then proceeded by a luncheon inside the dining Hall. Everyone is invited. Anyone bringing apparatus and/or personnel may do so. We ask that you come as close to 9:30 as possible and park apparatus at Station 32-1 101 E locust St., East Berlin. Overflow apparatus parking will be at the VFW and on the west side of Locust Street (on the Rutters/Pennwood products side) and the old L&L Ford parking lot (314 Harrisburg st.) Fire Police will be assisting.

Tuesday the 14th at 3:00PM we will be escorting Firefighter/EMT Kevin Brehm from Feiser Funeral Home in New Oxford to Feiser Funeral Home in East Berlin. We will be traveling via Route 30 to Route 194 into East Berlin.

If you would like to come out to East Berlin, Abbotstown, crosskeys or New Oxford to show respect, please do.
