Some tips for the upcoming storm-
Please keep fire hydrants clear of snow 3 feet around each hydrant.

Take breaks shoveling.

Make sure exhaust vent pipes are clear of snow for furnaces.

In colder areas of the home leave a faucet dripping to prevent freezing.

Do not run generators inside buildings.

12/12/25. Units responded to a vehicle fire on Markle run Road.  Engine 32-1 arrived to find a pick up truck fully involved. Tanker 32-1 also responded and then handled a fire alarm in the Borough. 5 personnel responded.

Delayed post. 12/2/25. Units were dispatched for a vehicle fire at the gas pumps at Weis Markets. units arrived on scene and found a smoldering engine compartment fire that was controlled by fire extinguishers at Weis. Vehicle was also pushed away from the pumps prior to our arrival. Engines 32-1, 2, and 3 responded, plus tanker 32-1. 14 personnel responded.

At 10:06 last night United Hook & Ladder Company #33, Engine 32-2 and EMS were dispatched to a MVA with rollover. Chief 53 came upon the accident and called it into 911. The driver was confined in the truck on its side, Chief 53 use ratchet straps found on scene to stabilize the vehicle and gain patient access to check on his condition. Engine 33-2 arrived and started more stabilization. Engine 32-2 arrived with 6 personnel, Assisted finishing the stabilization and worked with E33-2 to extricate the patient. The roof was flapped and the patient was flown to york hospital. HURST Jaws of Life
