Segi’s at it again in memory care, and we could not love it more!

Our Home Health Aides and Nurses are not only keeping our residents safe and healthy, but also so very happy.

We love seeing when they get our residents up and moving. Today, Segi had the ladies shaking it and dancing along with him.

We are so fortunate to have him and so many like him on our staff.

APRIL FOOLS!!!

Today we celebrated the first day of April with a fun mystery lunch.

The bistro kitchen was curtained off to keep the mystery, and residents could order one of each course, BUT only by the food’s description, in hopes of getting the right combo for them!

On the menu:
Melted ice (water)
Tiny Aluminum Fizz (a mini soda)
Teat Treat in regular or muddy (milk or chocolate milk)

Just passing through (corn)
Gas n go (baked beans)
Irish famine sticks (French fries)

Feathered appendages (chicken fingers)
Dachshund in a pillow (hot dog on a bun)
Crisp mix with pig, thanksgiving bird, and butt nuggets (chef salad- or for our vegetarians, served without the extras)

Sticky Adam’s nemesis (caramel apples)
Fairy’s apprentice (brownie)
Twisted misorder (pretzel and chocolate pudding)

It’s okay if you don’t get that last one- it’s an inside joke here. 😉

Everyone had a great time guessing at the items and ordering to see what they’d get!
