Go behind the scenes with Escrimeur Fencing’s very own Coach Leon as he teaches a kids class!

Coach Leon started to fence when he was 8 years old, was a member of the Kyrgyz Youth Sabre Team in the 1978 Junior Olympics, and earned the title of Master of Sports in Fencing by the end of high school. He graduated college with MS in Civil Engineering, where he continued fencing.

Together, he and his wife Marina run Escrimeur Fencers Club.

Escrimeur runs various classes, tournaments, and workshops at The Fields in a fully equipped facility. Escrimeur focuses on group and individual framework, ensuring comprehensive training where each fencer is seen and treated as an individual and athlete with potential.

This past weekend we held our first Spring Celebration! The kids had a blast coloring, applying temporary tattoos, making bracelets, doing soccer drills, and kicking the ball around!

The kids collected Easter eggs filled with candy, chocolate, and toys throughout the event.

Overall, we got to bring our Fields Families together and have an awesome time!
